Wow! Check out my BIG grin in that photo! If you're looking for psycho-folkabilly with a Southern Fried Heywood Banksian twist, why, you've come to the right place!
Updates
Kenny's gig at High Point University Feb. 27, 2002 at the "Hump Day Cafe" was a success!

The recording sessions with producer Dick Hodgin (Hootie/Blowfish,etc.) are slowly progressing. Looks like Chuck Fesmire (Sleepin' Booty) will be playing bass. Meanwhile, Kenny's got a couple of new songs he's considering for the project: "Cryin', Cryin'" and "Stuck In Yesterday".
He was at Duck-Kee Studio #8 last week to do some pre-production demos with Jerry Kee behind the board again.
This spot will be updated weekly, so come on back!
Here I am singing to grackles in trees
(not to be confused with former Raleigh band "The Grackles")

Comedy News
Kenny is teaming up again with "one of the funniest men on the planet" (according to humor columnist, Janie Shivar) -- Al Herr, to bring the laffs to UNC Hospital!!! It appears that Western Medicine has finally figured out that all people really need is a good punch in the gut from Kenny & Al (aka: Al & Kenny, but this is Kenny's website, so...there!). They're currently writing material for this escapade and will be going into exhausting 9 hour rehearsals soon. As part of the training for this, Kenny is currently reading "Groucho", a biography of one of his heroes.

Hey, if you wanna know where I'm playin', go to the "custom page" listed above. This will be constantly updated as new gigs are booked (duh!)
This is from the cover of "One Breath At A Time". Santi Matthews took all Kenny's promotional photos and she did a great job! (I'm looking for a lost quarter...I think it was a Rhode Island too!)
